Letter from Recruitment Chair
Hi!
My name is Madison Tuskes and I am the Vice President of Membership for Delta Gamma here at Penn State! I can honestly say that joining DG has changed my life.
Coming from a small high school, I made it one of my main goals in college to meet as many people as I could. At a huge school like Penn State, I knew that the opportunities were endless and I wanted to make sure I took full advantage of it! When becoming a part of Delta Gamma, the girls I connected with truly make me feel as if I am surrounded by my family while living my college experience. Being a part of Greek life has inspired me to be my best self and given me the chance to create lifelong sisterhood relationships.
Joining Delta Gamma opens up a plethora of opportunities for involvement. As a chapter, we make it a point to go above and beyond, whether it be for THON weekend, Greek Week, Greek Sing, or raising money for our philanthropy, Service for Sight, or getting the chance to take leadership roles. In addition to Greek life, many sisters are also involved in different organizations around campus, such as Schreyer Honors College, THON Committees, Club Sports, Whiplash Dance Team, Mock Trial, HealthWorks, internships, and so many more!
Delta Gamma is where I met my best friends and future bridesmaids. I could not imagine life without these girls, and it has made for an incredible college experience. I will always be able to cherish the memories, laughs, and supportiveness DG has allowed me to create with my sisters. I urge you all to consider going Greek as my sisters and I plan recruitment for the future year. Introducing a fantastic new member class to our sisterhood makes us very happy!
